1,What is letterpress printing?

The printing using the relief is called relief printing, which is referred to as letterpress printing.

In the current letterpress printing, the ink supply device of the printing machine first distributes the ink evenly, and then transfers the ink to the printing plate through the ink roller. The raised surface is obviously higher than the non-image portion, so the ink can only be transferred to the raised surface of the plate, while the non-image part has no ink. The paper feeding mechanism conveys the paper to the printing member, and under the action of the printing pressure, the ink of the printed raised surface is transferred to the receiving object, thereby creates an impression on the paper.
